@Karisu
Yeah, I think that the last sentence effectively sums up the atmosphere in which Ristorante Paradiso's OST is most enjoyable. If you're listening to it actively, it might be a bit disappointing, but if you're looking for light music to listen to that will stay in the background while you're doing other things, Ristorante's OST is perfect for doing just that.

As for Sorrow-kun's comment, that's something you'll have to take up with him :P

I think I enjoy this soundtrack a bit more than you, but overall, I agree with the sentiments listed for most of the tracks.

I do however want to say that I watched this anime and quite enjoyed it. I personally had no issue following the males in the show at all (and their respective relationships). I was actually quite shocked to read that line that stated they were all the same, when I personally saw them as quite distinct.

In any case, wonderful album that I would personally recommend to anyone looking for a nice light listen. Wine and a good book highly recommended acutriments for this OST.

@Reltair
Ristorante Paradiso's music does put you in the mood for food. No doubt about that! Someone once told me that watching the OP made them feel hungry and that hunger grew worse as they watched since the food they served looked so good.

Either way, if you really enjoyed the samples I've put up here, you really should check out ARIA. The music for that series is utterly fantastic!

The soft and squishy part is what it's all about!

I must admit I haven't listened to the Aria OST yet, so this sounds like perfectly good slice of life music.

Now I feel like eating some pasta.

... a claim that I'm certain will hold even after repeat tests.

Now, that doesn't preclude the possibility of there being a better one, but I'm at a loss at figuring out what that might be. If nothing else, I'll get some upstart who'll come in here and say "but X soundtrack is better" and if I'm not familiar with it, I'll be treated to more good music. Can't lose there!
