Huhuhu, at least Sora to Umi no Shi’s having a proper exposition. I’m glad you shared it on AInstrumentality. Again it’s a scheme to get me back on the MALKeionbu, you’re really good at this = )

Yup, Hoshi no Koe’s music was also composed by Tenmon and that show was my very first introduction to Tenmon. The only thing I didn’t like about it were the character designs, but everything else was very very sweet.

I’d say that the 5cm/sec soundtrack is pretty good especially with heavyweights like “One More Time, One More Chance.” “Sora to Umi no Shi” isn’t nearly as well known, but as you saw, it’s a solid track all the same. One that deserves more listens at any rate!

Oh my, I need to get that track – “Sora to Umi no Shi”, it sounds epic. I’ve seen 5cm/sec but I don’t recall this track, guess it’s been too long. As for Beyond the Clouds, I need to listen to some tracks from that as well – can’t recall ughh.

Ah, Makoto Shinkai and Tenmon. One of my favorite duo XD. I am always in awe when looking at Shinkai’s animation, and drifting away with Tenmon’s music.

Hoshi no Koe was another great show by Makoto Shinkai, though it is just a single episode OVA. I’m not sure if Tenmon worked with him on this, but is a very good watch =).
