Hmm, interesting discs. They definitely feel like a bunch of individual quirks put together. Some tracks fit me perfectly while others not so well. It was a fun experience, but I’m probably going to select a few tracks from each instead of listening to the entire discs in the future.

I’m glad you guys made this, it’s such a convenient way to share your discoveries with the community as a whole. MAL Keionbu is one of those things I wanted to get into but never really did, but it looks like a great way to discuss and discover new music. A

nyway, I might start taking part later in the year, but even if I don’t, I’ll keep learning what I can about anime music. The two torrents are downloading as we speak!

Here I was thinking I’ll have a boring New Year’s eve. Doing my blogging rounds and the torrent was done. Having listened to both discs, I won’t say that I agree with all the songs but it’s a pretty darn good 80%.

Now, instead of the lonely New ear’s eve I was expecting, I’m having a rather great time going through the tracks. Some slow and sweet, some feet tappers, and some just plain rocks hard. Good way to reminiscence and end this year wouldn’t you say? :p

For that, I Thank You. And Thank MAL K-ON BU too. Lol.

Edit: How can I forget this!

High praise from you indeed! I’m glad that the track diversity meets with your approval. In putting this all together, I can look back and say that there’s a certain degree of joy in being able to introduce people to stuff from One Outs and Someday’s Dreamer, both of which are painfully underrated soundtracks. Here’s hoping this compilation will increase the love!

I always wish I had the time to actively participate in MALKeionbu (lol dormant member). Nevertheless, selections across both compilations are very good and I am pleased to see tracks from One Outs and Someday’s Dreamer

Nice, I’ll give those discs a try. I see a lot of tracks on them that I don’t think I’ve heard before.
