Anime Instrumentality's Founder and Editor-in-Chief. As you can probably guess, I'm a big anime music junkie with a special love for composers who've put out some beautiful melodies to accompany some of my favorite anime series. I tend to gravitate towards music in the classical style with Joe Hisaishi and Yoko Kanno being a few of my favorite composers, but I've come to appreciate jazz and rock as anime music has widened my tastes.

Well-balanced selection, especially for a high-energy theme like Sports. That said, I hate sports anime..

wait… is that SPACE BOY? Oh my god I love you.

But seriously, a good selection; this podcast made me happy. Many solid songs, good variety, and just pleasant to listen overall. Mic problems are getting better, too!

Also, my nomination! Please don’t hurt me? Please? I mean, I’m being liberal with the theme, and pretty much everything about the nomination in general, but..:

Also, here’s a game (rather than anime) bonus track that certainly I’m not contending, but when I was digging for a choice in my library, I found it strangely appropriate. Also, I just love this song in general, and hey, you guys asked what I consider good rock-ish tracks, so here you go!

I got to the Chihayafuru track and I immediately regretted not putting up this one from Gundam Build Fighters. The camaraderie and sense of common purpose that binds individuals really comes through in this one. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dd46nIoKJq8

But I guess we’ve had our quota of Hayashi for the week in that Haikyuu one! (It’s quite good, I must say)

I’m certainly not betting on a lack of Gundam stuff this next week. The wealth of stuff to choose from, heh.

I might opt for hard moding the next show by avoiding mecha anime. Question is whether that’s even possible! ;D

      I guess Macross too.

Your podcasts are improving. Your voice sound better, and the music sound/voice sound is more balanced than last time. Also the mic noise has been cleared.

I like all the little jokes and inside that you tell between the songs, Kaiji zawazawa, Hajime no Ippo dempsey roll and Karuta comment made me laugth.

As everyone else is doing, here is my pick : Shikata Akiko – Inori No Kanata

Thanks! It’s amazing what a new mic can do! Also, the fact that you find my little jokes fun bodes well since those kinda flowed naturally.

I’ll definitely add that Akiko Shikata track once I run an ethereal week. Her voice is very solid when it comes to conveying those kinds of light ethereal moments.
