Anime Instrumentality Live Show and Q&A (Dec. 11)

6 weeks ago, at the beginning of November, we asked you all about your Top 10 Anime Composers of all time! Then two weeks after that, we launched into the first of many Anime Instrumentality live shows where we talked about our top 10 anime composers. Then December rolled around, I closed the poll, and began tabulating.

So now, we’ve finished tallying up the results and are ready to present the People’s Choice awards on YouTube. On December 11 at 9pm Pacific Time (-8 UTC, countdown timer for those who need it), we’ll be hosting a live show and go over the People’s Choice Top 20 (that’s right, 20!) Anime Composers of all time. Although it didn’t happen last time, we’ll spend the last few minutes of the show answering whatever questions you may have about anime, about us, or about anime music, so if you have any questions, let us know in the comments below or in chat. Twitter works fine too if you send an @reply to my account.

For those of you who are interested in watching us run through the People’s Choice Top 20 Anime Composers, pay attention to this post or our Facebook Page or Twitter accounts since we’ll be posting the link to the Youtube live-show there.

Anime Instrumentality's Founder and Editor-in-Chief. As you can probably guess, I'm a big anime music junkie with a special love for composers who've put out some beautiful melodies to accompany some of my favorite anime series. I tend to gravitate towards music in the classical style with Joe Hisaishi and Yoko Kanno being a few of my favorite composers, but I've come to appreciate jazz and rock as anime music has widened my tastes.
