Christmas Anime Music – Anime Music on the AIRS Ep. 13
Christmas. That time of year where it’s easy to get lost in the chaos of consumerism that we forget the importance of spending time with friends, family, and loved ones. But interestingly enough, the anime scene emphasizes those human connections in many a Christmas/holiday episode and encourages us to seek similar comforts so as to strengthen our lot once the New Year rolls around. So in the 13th episode of Anime Music on the AIRS we wanted to showcase Christmas music in anime while also adding some appropriate wintry themes for good measure. So grab some chestnuts, come close to the fire, and indulge in some holiday anime fare!

Thanks for including a track from Kaguya hime! (:
Ethereal Remains has this otherworldly feel that makes me drown in it on every listen. I think it might just be one of my favourite tracks of all time, so I’m really glad that you chose to include it here~!
Thanks for the suggestion!
One of these days, I’ll have to go and review the Haibane Renmei OST. A really beautiful soundtrack that captures the show’s atmosphere exquisitely!
